What are the minimum PC specs?

The floor targets 1080p30: GTX 1070, RX 5600 XT, or Arc A580 paired with an i5-8500-class CPU, 16GB RAM, and a 120GB SSD. Every tier — including minimum — assumes an upscaling preset; native rendering isn’t the baseline Remedy is targeting. Does it support DLSS, FSR, and frame generation?

Yes — DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4.1 with frame generation are in at launch, plus NVIDIA’s RTX Mega Geometry for the path-traced mode. Framerate is uncapped. Control Resonant is also bundled with RTX 50-series GPUs — check NVIDIA’s redemption instructions if you bought a card recently.

How does the PC version compare to consoles?

PS5 targets 60fps at 1440p (Performance) or 30fps at 2160p (Quality); PS5 Pro adds a 40fps Balanced mode with ray tracing. PC’s ceiling is far higher but so is the ask — path tracing is an RTX 5080-class feature. If you’re upgrading for this game, the Recommended tier is the value pick; the game’s Assist Mode can also smooth out difficulty if a weaker rig forces lower framerates.

Where does that leave Steam Deck?

No official Steam Deck verification has been published as of September 16. The 120GB install and mandatory-upscaling design suggest a rough ride — treat Deck playability as unverified until launch reports land. Whatever you play on, the zone system rewards frame-rate stability more than visual presets — combat leans on reading attacks and hitting the dodge window.
