When can you actually start playing?
Three dates matter: September 22 is when PS5 Digital Deluxe early access begins (48 hours early), September 24 is the worldwide launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and October 15 is when physical editions arrive after a manufacturing delay. GeForce NOW support is planned for launch; the Mac version follows later in 2026.

What are the preorder bonuses?
All platforms get the Hiss Corruption Outfit and the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact. PlayStation preorders add the exclusive Occult Outfit. Signing up for Remedy’s newsletter grants the Communications Department Headset and Optical Filtering Goggles cosmetics.
When does preload start?
Deluxe preloads open September 20; Standard preloads open September 22. The PS5 download is about 89 GB at version 01.200.000, and the PC install needs 120 GB of SSD space — check our PC requirements guide before launch day.
Which edition should you buy?
- Play early / physical collector: PS5 Digital Deluxe, or wait for the SteelBook on October 15.
- Everyone else: Standard — the Deluxe extras are cosmetics, a digital artbook, and a resource bundle that matters little once Artifacts start dropping in-game.
- Trophy hunters: nothing in any edition blocks the platinum roadmap — Assist Mode doesn’t disable trophies either.
